RESOLUTIONS FOR 2014

As we end 2013 and start 2014, I would like to propose a toast. So wherever you are and whatever you are doing…… please stop!!! Get yourself a drink. It doesn’t matter what drink. It could be water, wine or fruit juice is fine. Grab that drink and let’s toast:

            “TO YOUR DREAMS IN 2014”

Okay, now that we have drunk to your dreams, may I ask what those dreams are for 2014?
Anyway, if you did an opinion poll or asked people what their New Year’s resolutions were they would mention any of the following; spend more time with family and friends, quit smoking, quit drinking, get out of debt, learn something new, help others or get a better job.
But the hard truth is, only a few of us will be able to achieve SOME of our goals and dreams and the reason is we just say them but never work at it.

I want you to know that it’s all about you and your goals for 2014. Hopefully you have made them already. If you haven’t, then do it now.

I will urge you to write them down. I have found that there is nothing as powerful as writing down your goals at the beginning of the year. When you put your goals in writing at the beginning of the year they take on a new significance and power.
After writing down your goals, please follow through them.

Encourage yourself to achieve your dreams because nobody will inspire you to achieve your own dreams.
Speaking about encouraging yourself, one reason most people don’t ever start working on achieving their dreams, even after they have made them is that they wait to get motivated before they do so. Dr. Dubin argued that “action precedes motivation, not the other way around. Once they initiate an action – the smallest of actions – you pick up momentum and you’ll realize ‘hey, this isn’t so bad’ and it will be easier to keep moving forward and to stay motivated” So take action now.
Break them down into small steps to boost your confidence and you will be empowered to achieve your dreams

There is never a more perfect time to do something about it than now.

………….WISH YOU A HAPPY AND SUCCESSFUL NEW YEAR………..

Christian Essel.

CHOOSE YOUR RESPONSE

I am not saying that bad things don’t happen in life. Sometimes they do happen. However, your response to what happens to you, whether good or bad, is your choice. To quote James Allen: “Man is the master of thought, the molder of character, and the maker and shaper of condition, environment and destiny.” So decide on the response you give to every situation you face in life.

PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR LIFE

You must plan your life with much more care and attention than you would plan your business and your work. Stop living by waiting on chance and luck to make you happy, rich or healthy. If most of us put just half the effort we put into our jobs into planning our lives we would be amazed at the difference that would make. You can take that first step of creating the life you want right now. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? PLEASE START NOW!

THE LITTLE THINGS MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE

There was a man taking a morning walk at the beach. He saw that along with the morning tide came hundreds of starfish and when the tide moved away, they were left behind and with the morning sun rays, they would die.

The tide was fresh and the starfish were alive. The man took a few steps, picked one and threw it into the water. He did that repeatedly and right behind him there was another person who couldn’t understand what this man was doing.

He caught up with him and asked, “What are you doing? There are hundreds of starfish. How many can you help? What difference does it make? This man did not reply, took two more steps, picked up another one, threw it into the water and said, “It makes a difference to this one.

IT IS INDEED THE LITTLE THINGS THAT MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE, so please don’t wait to have enough in order to help or start something, you can always start small but never remain small.

A REALIST OR AN OPTIMIST.

Which one are you?

Growing up I always heard the phrase: If God gives you a vision, He will send provision.
I've found that to be true. If it's meant to be, it will be and nothing will be able to stop it. I notice often that when something is placed on my heart to do, the tools I need to make it happen come into my life. As soon as I have an idea I become very aware of everything and everyone I cross paths with. I'm expecting a blessing. I'm expecting the resources. I'm expecting it to work according to plan.

There is power in our mind and what we think is truthfully what we attract. It doesn't mean material or physical things; it means the means to achieve those things. The confidence to do the things that will manifest our dreams.

Tony Gaskins Jnr said, he read last week that in life you can't be a realist, you must be an optimist. It said that studies show that realist don't achieve much because they use too much reason and they won't push the limits. But optimist achieves much more in life because even when they fail, they feel that they did much better than they actually did so they keep going.

My point today is: Know what you want to do and keep your mind open to the possibilities and expect a good outcome.

I had someone say to me, we don't need to go into this thing with "hope" alone… Guess what! He heard that from an underachiever.

If we don't go into our next venture with hope then we won't get back up if we fail. That's why they say "keep hope alive" because without hope, we die!

When Mark Z created Facebook do you think his expectations were realistic or optimistic?

When Steve Jobs created Apple do you think his expectations were realistic or optimistic?

When the founders of Twitter started their social networking site do you think they were being realistic?

NO ONE THAT ACHIEVES GREAT THINGS IS A REALIST, THEY ARE ALL OPTIMISTS..

Your dream has to be so big that certain parts of it are blurry. If you can see every layer of your dream in crystal clear detail then your dream is too small. Don't limit the human mind. If you serve God, don't limit God. Don't limit yourself. Don't limit the possibilities.

If one door closes, another will open. If one person leaves your side, two more will join you. If everyone is doubting you, one day they'll all praise you!

IF YOU WANT TO ACHIEVE IN THIS LIFE, YOU MUST BE AN OPTIMIST

Realists don't change the world, they simply balance it.
Now I throw the question back to you, WHICH ONE ARE YOU?
